Slick harness
Can anyone confirm what the slick harness p/n is for an S6 Bendix mag? Does this come as a set of 2 for both mags? Spruce and Chief are both out of stock and it looks like 30-60 days to get them in. Any suggestions for another brand (non-slick...) or another supplier? Thanks!

skippy2,
You're kind of loseing me there someplace. Are you looking for Slick harnesses for Slick Mags? I don't believe I've ever seen Slick harnesses for a Bendix Mag. How about Champion harnesses. They ought to be available for Bendix Mags

In 2002 I changed out Dad's Bendix mag leads to Slick M-2130 Leads on Bendix mags.....I have a hard time seeing where you can't find these leads....Bradblueldr wrote:skippy2,

Re: Slick harness
So I can find them but I would end up paying almost $400 for a set when I can get them for ~$240 with the 30 day lead time. Although it's now been at least 60 days...

Re: Slick harness
My Swift has an O-300 with Bendix mags. It had Slick harnesses that went bad. I replaced them with Skytronics harnesses, which are available from Aircraft Spruce, Chief Aircraft, and probably others. They work fine.

Re: Slick harness
John, I hadn't heard anything about the Skytronics harness so I didn't want to go there. But with the cost and availability differences I might just do it.
