How to install right hand non opening window

Anybody ever put a new right hand window in there airplane. Mine is non opening and trying to figure out wich revets to drill out. The one's on the inside or the outside. Thanks. any help is appreciated.

When I purchased my plane ('56 172) it of course didn't have an opening window on the right side Actually it did have sort of a Rube Goldberg sliding window that sort of worked in the summer (permitted about 1/2 of the fore/aft area to open, but in the winter it let in bunches of cold air where the sliding piece overlapped the fixed one. I replaced it with a fixed window for a while and tried to determine how a Cessna opening window might be installed. Never did do so and eventually replaced the door with a later model one that does open. Good luck with the project and be sure to update us via the forum regarding how the project progresses.

I have an dang-near perfect, never-been-painted right door I'll discuss selling/trading to you which has that window and frame. Warning: It's not cheap but a lot cheaper'n Cessna. (It's not a bare-bones door,...it includes lots of valuable lock-set and hinges that run the price up.)

Also, TIC170A has a NOS right door, complete assy, which will be priced to TIC170A Members Only, at 1/2 Cessna new. (At present Cessna will only provide this assy by custom-order, paid up-front. The Cessna price is approx. $7K) No kidding.

You drill out the inside rivets.....You then have to reinstall cherries...or some type of ancker and screw...I used cherries on my '65 skyhawk.....Brad
