Cessna Seat that needs repair

I need your help once again. I have a seat and am not sure of the part number. I THINKS ITS A SEAT OUT OF A 172, but not sure of the year. My problem is that the right rear seat leg where the rollers attach to the to this "U" shaped bracket. this is the part that kinda of wraps around the seat rail is worn or should I say gone. The leg looks like it can be removed/ replaced by removing two rivits. Can anyone help with a part number? I have looked in the Cessna parts book and find 1414104 housing-seat roller aft R H. This sounds like the roller assembly? Hate to order and find its incorrect and pay a $25.00 restocking fee.

While a 172 seat may, repeat may, fit a 170, ...the 170 seat legs are not replaceable by rivetting. They are welded assemblies. The roller pn is: 0311310. The "U" shaped end of the leg is welded onto the leg, and does not have a separate pn.

Geo, thanks for the reply. The reason I think I have seats from a 172 are that the seat can accept an adjustable head rest. The seat that I have HAS a rivited lower leg. Is one to replace the whole seat because of the worn part?

I have also written to Cessna Pilots Ass and asked. Their getting a little slow with responses.

I am familiar with that type of seat. I think if you could find a good part from a wrecked seat or if you could look at some other Cessna models to find out the part number you could easily replace the part. You would want to check out the rivets carefully and perhaps buy them from Cessna also unless they look like standard AN aluminum ones. I assume you've checked that the seat actually fits your plane (as George intuitively points out) and that it has some type of approval to be installed in the 170?
