[b]NEEDED, O-300 A ENGINE BLOCK[[/b]/b]. SENT TO DIVCO AND GOT THE BAD NEWS TODAY THAT THE BLOCK IS NOT REPARIABLE!!!!!!!! SURE COULD USE THE HELP IN LOCATING. HAVE ALL THE OTHER PARTS BACK FROM RICK ROMANS GUESS I'LL ALSO NEED TO START LOOKING AT MC DONALDS FOR PART TIME EMPLOYMENT. ANYONE NEED THEIR GRASS CUT? HELP.

If by block you mean the crankcase,dpn't despair. I needed to replace mine after a broken connecting rod poked thru it about 2 years ago. The replacement case only cost $350. Now if ya gotta replace the crankshaft,that's another story! They're going for upwards of $2500 these days.
Try calling (or have your overhauler call) some engine parts guys. I believe my overhauler bought my replacement case from Jerry Meyers Aviation near Tacoma,Washington --- 360-893-3300.

Eric, thanks for the input. Ive found that the case goes for about $1000. to $1200. YELLOW TAGGGED. Div Co costs $685.00 to go thru the case and yellow tag it. So with about a 3or4 hundred purchase it looks about right. I'm spending money like a drunken sailor getting this acft back in order. Should have a pretty good engine when complete.
