alternator/vacuum pump

Post by N2617V »

I have a '48 c170 with a c145 that I am trying to install an alternator/vaccum pump on. I purchased the mod from Stan Bedford. It came with a copy of a 337 for an A model. Does anyone know of a 337 for a '48 model? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. The model no. is scb-201-cv
Thanks

I just sent the entire installation information to Velvet at headquarters@cessna170.org for the Univeral Tow-All alternator/vacuum pump. You might also attempt to contact Universal at 352 666-2929.
(Are you sure you want to put both your electrical system AND your vacuum system on the same drive-pad shaft? That would almost obviate your redundancy of gyro instruments some being vacuum and others electric. Just a thought.)
