Maint Manuals

Post by Hbeing »

Considering purchasing a 170B after many years of not flying, I am an active A&P, IA and was wondering if there are any sources for current mfg data for the airframe and engine without spending a boatload of $$'s through ATP or Avantex ?

I did download some manuals off a mirror site, but they appear to be original issue or rev level 1 ?

Just curious as to what everyone is using

Thanks

There are no maintenance manuals specifically for the Cessna 170 other than the 100 series '62 and prior Cessna Service Manual and the latest Continental Overhaul Manual (or Lycoming). The Continental Manual is dated June 82. Not sure the latest version of the 100 series '62 and prior manual.
