170 Vertical fin and rudder

Post by sellis737 »

I am looking at a number of 170s out there with the vertical fin that has the dorsal fin like the A and B models. What serial number did the 170 start the fin with the dorsil? Is there an STC to use the later fin on an airframe with the straight vertical fin?

Thanks, Sean Ellis

The 48 didn't ever have it from the factory. But all 170s are eligible per the TCDS to have the dorsal installed.
