Where's George

Post by marathonrunner »

I notice George has been absent lately. Just wondering if he is o.k or got the flu, or?? Just seems kind of boring without him stirring the pot. Maybe he has been busy doing tham thar BIANNUAL flight reviews. Could be he got in an airplane with shower of sparks and the batter went dead after they shut down and the auto fuel with ethanol vaporized in the lines and they wore the batter down and no plug and cannot hand prop.

I think I hit all the right notes :)

MMO barbed prod??? I freaking hate acronyms. Can you give me that in English? I do speak a bit of Spanish so that will work too.

So the deal is, what is the last thing you did to help your spouse out that got you in trouble because in the act of helping you made a comment that was in their opinion, inappropriate. See this is non gender specific so I think I am abiding by the rules set forth in the humor post.

She was trying to bang some frozen fire wood that is uncovered...another project for me, covered shed for the wood she splits after I cut... with another log to dislodge it. It was painful to watch so I walked over with a long pry bar and dislodged the wood so she could haul some loads to the house for the wood stove. Just trying to help where I can. I remarked "With the proper lever and the proper application of force anything can be accomplished...clearly you failed high school physics"

Hell I didn't know she never took high school physics. It wasn't one of the topics we covered while dating.

You were ahead of most of us by getting her to haul logs into the house. Most have to cut, split, haul and start the fires for out better halfs

Ya mine does the splitting but I had to get her a hydralic wood splitter. Oh and now I usuallly have to start it as it is cord pull. So I cut, she splits, stacks, hauls to the wood stove and lights the fire. It wasn't my idea to put one of those in.

She also got on the neighbors tractor when we wer building and IMO cleared way too much area for a back yard with grass...I told her it was her idea so she gets to mow it. Gotta keep her in shape somehow :)

Hope she never finds out about these posts  8O

If I recall, awhile back George's mother was not the best, anybody hear from George lately?

Thanks for everyone's concerns.... I've just been a little busy lately...(and you guys thought asking her to chop/haul wood was bad?) ....I've just been catching up on the "honey-do" lists...ever since I handed this to Jamie:
