Project 170 back in the air!!

Post by IdahoPilot »

The 170 project I have been working on the last year and a half has officially flown again! Was test flown a couple weeks ago for the first time since around 1991. Pilot said it flew great with no problems whatsoever! The 92 year old owner will be coming to ride around in it and fly a little here soon. I am attaching links of the flight. Thanks everyone for your input during this project.

PS. It's for sale. So if anyone is interested. Speak up :D

Awesome! Getting your plane back in the air is inspirational to me. I bought my 170A in October. It sat for a few years until 2005 when it was extensively annualed. It then sat again until October 2012. I am in the process of getting her back in the air again, though she probably won't look quite as nice as yours. Like you, I have found a goldmine of information in this organisation and appreciate the friendly input and the occasional ribbing...Just curious, what is the asking price?
