On one of the Super Cub Fly INs at Johnson Creek, one of those guys had the absolutely cheapest and simple tail wheel spares ever seen. It consisted of a short 2 x 4 block of wood cut in a sort of a sled shape with an axle hole drilled through it. He claimed to have used it very satisfactorily.

I've found that GREEN tie down ropes hold the airplane stationary better.
If you plan to FLY your airplane with rope installed anywhere .... I recommend RED rope. RED rope, when used to tie-down an airplane, also holds it FAST!

The American Coaster Co maker of roller coasters has a solid rubber wheel that fits the 3200 for about 20 dollars. I know a few people who have them installed with thousands of hours of use. Not one has gone flat. Weighs a bit more though.

I am not sure what a TDO is but I suspect it is some sort of legal term that applies to aircraft parts much like a 337, a field approval or some other term like that. I am pretty sure there are no such legal terms to describe said roller coaster wheel. I would not know as it is some of my friends who are using them not me.

How about it seems like all the tailwheel tubes seem to come from China, and are pretty thin and weak looking? A while ago I asked if anyone knew where to get the old substantial ones.
About the talc, yes, baby powder isn't what it used to be.
I run mine about 40 psi and have no trouble with bounce (all the 'bounce' is at the main gear).
