And your antenna mast base is in a box waiting for a trip to the post office Greg.

Thanks, Bruce. Tell me how much with shipping and I will send a check. What did you tell me about how I should attach the base to the airplane?

Greg it was $2.07. coming regular post. You can buy me a beer (or ice tea) at next years convention. These where attached with rivets which also hold the cabin skin to the carry threw spar. I'd bet the holes in the base will line up with your rivets and the rivets or the screws that replaced them are probably already holding that make shift base you have. I would not buck new rivets but replace the 4 in the base with some AN screws. You should be able to get under neath to hold the nuts on the screws by carefully unhooking the front of your headliner.

Screws may allow more water ingress than rivets. (water will follow the threads) Some sealant might be in order.
