too low, thought i always had to run 45+ where does the 35 number come from?
Yes really.
Do you think it to high or to low? The tire under heavier load can handle higher than 35 lbs.

That' s it, what a great line. I was starting to loose faith in some of our crew here who are movie reviewer's/critics not responding, heck I could sell a 80/42 or 80/43 prop in this much time!

well thanks for that. well the first page of the thread anyway.
i had read on SC site and Pierce and experience from my previous plane that around 35 it's a little soft. AND the 170 is heavier in the tail so i was surprised by that bit of info.

I air up my tailwheel the same way my Dad aired up the old nylon bias ply tires on one of his old ('46 and '53) Ford pickups when the load was more than might be recommended: "Pump 'em up 'till they're round."
