Will a headliner from a C-175 fit a 170 ?

If we use the patterns from a 175 head liner what modifications will we need to make?

If memory serves you are installing this in a 48. 48 and model headliners have the inspection zipper running dow the center fron to back to facilitate cable inspection. B models and I assume the 175 have the zipper running side to side. Other than that I'd bet they are the same but I've never studied the 175.

I'm doing the headliner in my 48 now. As you mention the 48 zipper runs down the centre. I bought a new liner from Airtex, and bought the wool type. I believe the 175 like the later 170's has the square style aft windows so it may be an issue if there is limited material. The 48 headliner wires are also a little different. My 48 doesn't have the speaker, I have no idea what the 175 has, it's been 30 years since I even been in our flown a 175.
