I have a leak in my copper primer line between the firewall and the intake manifold. I was hoping for an easy fix by simply fabricating a new copper line with flared fittings at each end. Come to find out the fitting at the manifold is concave (for lack of a better description) and will not accept the type of fitting I can make with my 37 degree flare tool. Perhaps it's a double-flare fitting? Anyhow, I removed the fitting from the manifold for a closer look and it has the appearance of a needle fitting one would use to inflate a football. I rarely use my primer but don't want it inop. Any thoughts on how to manufacture a new line? Thx.

On further examination, the end that affixes to the primer nozzle appears to be soldered on. If so, are these soldered in the same manner as copper plumbing pipe? Thx.
