Spark Plugs
How much time are members getting from their spark plugs? I have 515 hrs on my Autolite plugs that I installed in November of 2005. They still look good and the engine runs well. As far as I can determine the resistance of each plug is within the limits I have seen published in vrs ads. The Autolite plugs replaced the Champion plugs installed at overhaul and had 498 hrs on them. I thought the Champions were OK until I had my mags overhauled and after the mags were installed the engine ran so rough I wouldn't fly it. Put the new Autolites in and it ran like a O-300 was supposed to run. I overhauled my mags again this past fall and the engine still runs good on these Autolites.

Re: Spark Plugs
500 hrs is good service for massive-electrode plugs. TBO can be achieved with fine-wires.
