Hopefully this is in the correct area,

Just saw a set of Cleveland Double Puck Brakes for sale, is there a specific model number to fit on a '56 C170B?

Thanks

I believe the number you want is 199-62.

rob is correct, 199-62 is the kit number, the brakes are 30-52N and the wheels are 40-75D, those are the 3 bolt wheels. These have the deeper off set brake disc and torque plates for 8.00 tires. You need the STC from faDodge to install.

Thanks for the info!

From the ad:

"Cleveland Double Puck Aircraft Brakes with backing plates. Pads in great shape and new o-rings. Model # 30-52N $450 for the pair".

Currently have 8.50x6's, someday like to upgrade to 26's, not sure if these were worth picking up.

Thanks.

I bought a complete set of serviceable double puck Cleveland brakes from an aircraft salvage yard for about $100.

Was that in the old gold certificates? or the newer silver certificates? ...or the latest "reserve notes"?
