Tinnerman cable clamp

Post by DaveF »

Anyone know where I can get more of these clip-on clamps? They sure beat trying to drill holes and fit Adel clamps under the floor. I thought I saw the part number in the IPC, but I can't find it now.

Dave,

If you can't find the original, could you substitute something like this? http://www.alliedelec.com/hellermanntyt ... /70162991/

I found that by googling "edge biter wire clip". There surely are others to choose from.

They look very useful.

I am convinced that there is lots of really cool stuff available that we haven't thought of to look for.

I found this stuff the other day and made a new switch for my motorbike headliights with a blob of it it on a screw - it has held up for over a year

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)

Thanks for all the suggestions. I like the idea of plastic to avoid dissimilar metal problems, though the clamp I showed has been in my airplane for at least 50 years and it's still in good condition.
