I want to order O Ring for piston and Lock O Seal for Piston
From IPC fig 60 I apparently have Master Cylinder Right as 0541138-6 since aircraft SN is 24633. Descp then refers to fig 59 page 100 IPC.
The IPC is fifty years old . Surely the parts numbers have suoerceded numerous times over the decades.
My question to the forum is simply what are the current part numbers and which vendor is preferred ?.
Has the design of these parts improved with technology over the years ? Better?
In searching the forum I noted several cases where defective Lock O Seal was identified as full or partial failure element.

Trimcraft wants $25.17 for a brake and master cylinder seal kit. You'll find o-ring part numbers and Trimcraft's number here.

Hill Aircraft is a Cessna distributor and will give a discount to our members if it's mentioned when the order is placed.
Their website http://www.cessnaparts.com will automatically (usually) revise to the current part-no any obsolete number entered.
Parts sold by aftermarket providers may not utilize Cessna PNs.
