Engine Mount
A former 170 member has asked what the value (sale price) might be for a engine mount that would go on a '56 170 (probably same mount for all O-300 engines). He has one he wishes to sell. What say you?

Re: Engine Mount
Frank I was given one. I had it blasted to inspect it (cost me 40) only to find a few spots of wear needing repair. I estimate repairs at around $ 1200. It's likely going to be taking up space in the hangar for awhile.
Reality it's condition, condition, condition. I'll guess, one rebuilt with certs likely 1200-1500 and like everything, going up?

Re: Engine Mount
Just checking, Aero Fabricators has an exchange program/repair program and price lists suggest $800 for a serviceable mount with certs.
Looks like my guesstimate is out but in my defence I just had a mount repaired that cost me $1600 for the mount and 400 for the shipping Canadian.
