PROPOSED AD FOR C-172, 182, 206, 207, 210
HI ... I read an article in AOPA (1 FEB by Dan Namowitz) regarding a proposed AD which would require inspection and repair if necessary of the lower area of the forward cabin door post bulkhead due to possible corrosion. Our -170s were not mentioned. Is it not true though that the -170 and -172 airframes are pretty much the same? I thought I understood the fuselage jigs were identical. Comments? Thanks ... Regards, Lee (N1967C ..."a work in progress"!)

I don't think the older 172's (those most structurally similar to 170's) are included in the AD.
