fuel tank wear strips
Anybody know what adhesive is used to glue down/ attach fuel tank wear strips.?

3-M 1300-L is often used universally on aircraft, but I don’t know what specified adhesive in this particular use.

This is kind of a smart-a$$ remark, but not completely. If you could find out what that black sound-deadening material is that Cessna sprayed on the skin inside the fuselage, I would use that. It is almost physically impossible to remove short of grinding and it is not soluble in ANY solvent normally used in an aircraft maintenance shop. 
Seriously, there are some commercially available adhesives that are gasoline-proof. I googled “gasoline-proof adhesives” and quite a few popped up that will be locally available to you at auto supply or big box stores. Good luck.

When reskinning my stabilizers which were coated with that black tar stuff inside. I found the best removal solvent was low grade Regular gasoline. Pickup truck bed-liner spray was what I saw on a 206 floorboards one time down in Alice, TX. They were a freight operation.
