October 8th Texas members and guests met at Gainsville KGLE to enjoy The Texas Chapter Antique Airplane Association's 60th annual fly-in. It was a good VFR day and there was a good turn out of nice airplanes. Some were quite old and have obviously been loved and well cared for.
Member Paul Wood has a well honed talent for locating very good BBQ restaurants, so him and Debra give a ride to one located not far from the airport. It was a great choice.
As usual, it was a fun day and the highlight was spending time with other members of the 170 family.
Those attending were: David Bengtson, Virginia Hummer, Debra & Paul Wood, Rusty Morris, Richard Pulley and Ken Peck.
