Hey everyone! After 15+ years of flying rentals and club planes, my family of three is purchasing our first airplane! We have fallen in love with every single model of the 170. After 6 months of lurking, I didn't want my first ever post to be a question (that's probably already been asked), but just simply wanted to introduce myself and thank you all for a ton of good info on this forum! I look forward to participating in the near future as an owner!

Re: Starting the 170 Journey!
Thanks! I am based just outside Sandpoint, ID but have been flying out of a small airport up closer to the Canadian border. I have a 10 year old daughter who has gotten the flying bug and has been flying around in a Citabria with me the last few years. Any time the family wanted to fly, we had to rent a 172 trainer, so we finally came to an agreement to get 3 place or better! Hoping the 170A will fit the bill for a while! We aren't trying to get it down (or out of, more importantly) on anything too small, as I understand what the c-145 is and isnt but we are excited!
