I want to install one venturi system as shown on page 134 of the IPC-figure 77 and need advise on locating hoses, fittings, current parts numbers, etc. Ill be using the old style gyros at the original positions. Do they still use aluminum tubing or is there something better? I have an AI, a suction gauge and a relief valve. All comments and help appreciated.

The IPC is the mfr's solution and is a good one. Alum tubing is good, but labor intensive. Hoses are less ideal but easier to work with. (Hoses have life limits and are subject to reduced interior capacity when bent.)
If your inst. panel is opened up, the tubing should be much easier to fabricate. Airborne brand fittings are good prefab solutions.

Thanks George. Im going with the hoses, will try to avoid any sharp bends.
