Where can I get a drawing or engineering (if available) data that shows the proper layout of the paint to include dementions?

You can check with Cessna. I was able to order the blueprints for my old '52 from Cessna (they even had a part number for it). I'm not sure if they have them for all model years. Contact Cessna, or your local Cessna dealer and they can inquire for you.
