Cabin deck access panel studs

Post by FLBUSHPILOT »

I am looking for a source so that I may buy some ( 50 ) of Cessna # 49390 studs or similar. I prefer stainless steel however another metal would be acceptable as long as there is no electrolisys. Plastic would be last resort. bushmechanic@windstream.net bushpilot@windstream.net

A year or so ago, lowNslow found the alternate part # S1878-1, tri-mount studs. These are 76¢ apiece at Hill Aircraft. They are up from 57¢ in March of last year. :? They appear to me to be aluminum, but could be stainless steel; I really didn't look at them that close.

The website says they have to be ordered in blocks of 25, but if you put in the comments box exactly how many you want, that's how many they'll send. You'll even get the FAA paperwork (8130?) on them.
