Rudder Pedal Bearings

Post by simon »

What are you guys using on the rudder pedal bearings (part #s 0411263 and 0411264) for lube? I figured that normal grease or oil would just collect dirt. As I recall, the service manual is fairly vague on the subject.

Thanks

Any help with this? I'm getting ready to reinstall the pedal assembly. Sundby

Don't know if there is a right lubricant. Almost anything you use with the exception of a dry lubricant would eventually hold dust and dirt.

What would I use. Something I had around the shop. A small dap of wheel bearing grease or white grease. I might use a drop of 30 weight motor oil or even a shot of LPS2.
