Atlee sells powder coated stainless steel V-braces that have oversize tubing, maybe 3/4", that is much stiffer than the stock Cessna version and can actually be used as a hand-hold without danger of bending it.
I have had one for years on my C-180. It took out all of the fuselage twisting and windshield squeaking when landing on rough surfaces.
