retractable landing light repair

Post by phantomphixer »

Need help. Need someone who has a close-up photo of the grimes landing light. Really need a closeup of the contacts in the light assy. I've already got the wiring diagrams but our insulation has disintegrated (at least the insulating phenolic has) and need a picture to rebuild. What kind of rivets hold the contacts together also? I'll pm anyone what I've got and maybe somebody can tell me the correct assy. 1948 170.
Thanks

Another member who is going thru this (and who happens to be an A&P and likely to be able to assist) is Steve Grewing.

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)
