Tube Sticking to Tire
I started preparing for the annual on 2767D. Today I pulled the Cleveland wheels, inspected for cracks, greased the wheel bearing and rotated the tires. Like most of you I have discovered the outside edges of the tires wear faster than the inside edges. Removing the tires in order to rotate them I noticed that the tube in both tires stuck to the tire in a specific place - not more than and inche or two - but stuck none the less. I had talced the tires when I installed them and did so again this time. Any ideas why the tube would stick to the tire in only one spot?

Was there a stick on tire weight on the inside of the tire? Some times the tube will stick to the weight. It looks like a rectangular patch.

I did not notice a patch - but also did not look for one. The tube sticking to a patch weight makes sense, especially considering the sticking occurred in both tire the same way.

Re: Tube Sticking to Tire
I had the same problem with some 29x10 tires. They are much larger and from the factory they install stick on tire weights on the inside of the tire. Well come to find out these were installed by the customer. Well after just taxing we came back to an aircraft with a flat tire. The tire was ripping the tube open where it was sticking to the tire. Went through about three before it was decided that the weight was a bad idea. It most likely is not your problem but ripped tubes were a result of sticky tubes to tires in this case.
