Door Items

Post by 170C »

On some planes there is a plastic washer that goes between the door handle and the upholstry and I would surmise it is to lessen the friction between the upholstry and the door handle. I don't have a part number & was wondering if anyone knows where such an item can be found/purchased.

Frank I'd be looking at auto stores in the replacement door handle stuff.

Please don't tell the Feds, but I just made my plastic washers out of a piece of plastic "Blister Pak" pakaging using a pair of scissors. Takes a lot less time than looking for them.

Here's the handle itself. (May/may not come with "escutcheon"....you'll have to ask.)

Here's the plastic "Escutcheon Washers":

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)
