Ski Bottoms

Where can I find the teflon or white plastic that I have seen rivited to the bottom of some skis. Is this an approved mod? I have fed 2500 skis Thanks Mark

You can buy it, as well as the rivets needed to install it and other supplies, from:

Aero Ski Manufacturing Co
48010 260th St
Brooten, MN 56316
(320) 346-2285

They're located in a hangar at the Brooten Municipal Airport (6D1)

No problem. I've replaced the plastic bottom on one of my Federal 1500s (for my J3), so I'm somewhat familiar with the process. If I can be of any further help, feel free to call. I'm in the 170 Association book.

1/4 screws and nuts with cone washers work better and , and most plastic places carry the 1/4 MWR.
