Disadavantages of a 175 wing on a 170?

(Assuming that that FAA has already approved the wing swap) Resale? Maintenance? 170 purist thoughts? Are these
as well as any other matters a major factor??

Other than the fuel tank and fuel gauge set-up, they are essentially the same. Personally, I'd appreciate the opportunity to carry addt'l fuel. (and I'm the originality nut!)

I agree George, the 175 tanks will have had an electrical qty indication system. To utilize the larger tanks and to have the direct reading fuel gauges, the 175 tanks will need some welding. Probably easier to rob the electrical gauges and install them in the dash. In my plane, the tanks have been modified.

Since there seems to be some interest in C-175 wings, I think I'll put a pair up for sale in the Trademart.
