Suggestion for MX Forum

Post by GAHorn »

Not a promise to do it, but I'm open for suggestions on topic for this years Maintenance Forum at the Convention in Benton Harbor.

The Host, Glenn Dee, has set the MX Forums for Monday Morning, 9-noon. A visit to a paint shop and discussion of corrosion-control follows lunch.

How about everything you wanted to know about care and maintenance of different tail wheels and tail springs?

Hi Bruce,

Had to leave Dearborn before your "Rope Trick" seminar. :(

Unfortunately didn't go to Duluth so missed the tail wheel seminar.

Maybe a refresher course at a convention in Quakertown is in order? :)

How about having a flap handle available for a hands-on view of a latch pawl rivet failure?

Hey Steve I'm prepared to travel to that New England convention you might plan as well. Lots of TIC170 Folks would like to see one in New England before another in Eastern PA. :)

Thanks...That's an excellent subject and I will definitely cover that, but it will only take about 10 mins of the 3-hours allowed. I appreciate your reminder to include it.

This seems like an execllent thread for THE HANGAR section. Could it be that it would encourage some non-members to attend the convention and maybe join the Associaiton?
