C-145 Gaskets

Post by Barfbag »

Hello all,

I recently purchased a 52-170B with a fairly recent overhaul. With less than 100 since major, my accessory case gasket is leaking badly and I need to replace it. I'm having trouble locating all the necessary gaskets.
Just wondering if anyone out there can lead me in the right direction? I have located the case gasket itself and the oil filter adapter, but I can't find the gaskets for the mags (Slick), alternator, and the starter(Sky-Tec).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Aircraft spuce for sure......... If you can avoid removing the case by slightly tightening the case bolts it helps. Mine developed a leak about 400 hrs after I overhauled it. I simply snugged the bolts at the lower case area which fixed the problem. Just be careful - DO NOT over torque. I got almost a full 1/2 turn on them all which stopped the oil leak issue.
