Hello!

We in Germany can use for a C170 B two engines. Die first is the C145-2. The second is a O-300. About this fact I have a question.

Can I use the same engine-carrier for both engines? Or is the engine-carrier not the same?

The rebuilding of my C145-2 is very expensive and at the moment I can buy a O-300 for smale money in good condition. But my engine-carrier is for a C145-2.

The engine mount should be the same for both engines. Later model O300s have a 6 bolt prop hub vs the 8 bolt prop hub for the c145. If you have a latter model O300 you would also need to replace the prop
