Mini tachometer

Post by james_layman »

Any experience with a mini tachometer, mechanical or electronic?

I want to add a DG to my panel and have an empty hole in my '49 A model, perfect for a mini tach.

My thought is ditch the full size tach, move some things around, add an electric DG and put the mini tach in the remaining 2 1/4 hole.

The only thing I know about them is from the Spruce catalog.

Thanks- Jim Layman

I second that. I have used one for over ten years now with excellent results. The best thing is the rpm is exact and you can plug a firewall hole.
