Do you get any oil on the back side of the propeller? Some years ago, on my stock C-145 engine, I was getting a very slight mist of oil on my windshield.
Investigation also revealed a slight trail of oil on the back side of the prop. What the hell? An oil leak on a fixed pitch prop? Ridiculous! I pulled off the spinner and found that the "freeze plug" type of plug in the front crankshaft journal had come loose and was allowing the engine to "breathe" out through the hollow journal. This allowed the prop to become a "slinger' and throw the condensate out onto the windshield. A new "freeze" plug was installed in the hollow front crankshaft journal to cure the problem.
