Panel Trim Rings

Post by Kyle »

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I have looked in my copy of the IPC but am unable to locate trim rings for the 2 1/4" gage panel holes. I have a few spare 3" rings but seek some 2 1/4" pieces. Are they made, and what is the part number? Oh yes, the correct location in my IPC would be helpfull too.

Thanks in advance,

Kyle T.

Kyle, I believe the "Bezel" (s) were only original to the "floating" panel gauges, not the 2-1/4" instruments (which usually had "rings" or small bezels as part of their mfr. The Bezels for the gyros, etc. are found on page 72 of the B-model IPC.

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)

George,

My thanks... One of these days when I get a webb page up and running I'll be able to post pictures of how my panel is coming along. Actually we are making good progress, the sub panel is almost conpleted and the overlay panel has all the holes cut. I'm now in the process of making some "bezels" by hand and should have all the parts and pieces soon :)

Thanks again.
